Protective measures

We want to make sure that your visit is both enjoyable and safe. We are encouraging everyone who visits the museum to continue to take a few basic precautions.

  • For your protection and the protection of others, we recommend wearing a face covering (medical mask or FFP2 mask) in indoor spaces.

  • Please be considerate of people and exercise social distancing where you can – especially in smaller spaces.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance and throughout the museum, especially after touching surfaces.

We wish you a pleasant stay!

Photography without flash and filming is permitted for private purposes in the museum. For conservation reasons, however, the tapestry may not be photographed. Prior permission from the ticket office is necessary if images are to be used for commercial purposes.

Dogs are not permitted in Wolfsthurn Castle.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire castle premises.

Car parking is available in Mareit village centre.

Good footwear is recommended for the “Forest and Water” walking trail.
